Scope of the Role:The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for the maintenance and growth of all accounts within an assigned geographic region. The RSM is the face of Duraco, working externally with customers to recommend solutions across our product range. Additionally, this person works closely with the Inside Sales team to identify and pursue new targets and opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the defined geography to provide solutions to external customers
- Support customers as needed with proposals, technical support, samples, quotes and/or any customer issues
- Responsible for territory’s strategic initiatives as well as sales targets set by Executive Management
- Maximize profitability within the region and supported territories
- Provide KPI updates through monthly reporting, emails, phone, etc. as required to manage the territory
- Conduct proper analysis to determine strengths and weaknesses of territory
- Validate territory pipeline and participate in monthly pipeline reviews
- Develop project plans, coordinate projects, and communicate changes and progress

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with five to seven years related experience
- Excellent negotiating skills
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must be willing to travel about 50% of the time
